The property belongs to a well-known local builder, who was responsible for the entire structural renovation: flooring, balconies, stairs—essentially, the building shell. My role in this project was to furnish and dress the space, transforming it into a cozy and welcoming place.

The entrance hall, dining room, and living room were initially an open, open-plan space. The first intervention was to divide and define the different areas. To do this, we opted for a glazed partition with divided panes to separate the entrance, providing privacy without losing natural light. This slightly reduced the space, making it feel much more intimate and welcoming.

Next, we created different zones within the same space, distinguishing them with elements like rugs. For example, a cozy reading corner was created in front of the fireplace, providing the perfect spot to unwind.

The family living in this home enjoys an active social life and often has guests, so it was crucial to create spaces with enough seating.

The challenge was to do this while maintaining the flow of the space. The solution was a 6-seat dining table that could be comfortably expanded and a living room with seating for 8 to 10 people.

La propiedad fue reformada a nivel estructural por el constructor Josep López Soler (Can Riereta, s.l.)l: pavimentos, balconeras, escaleras… en definitiva, el continente. Mi labor en este proyecto consistió en amueblar y vestir el espacio, transformándolo en un lugar acogedor. El recibidor, el comedor y el salón eran inicialmente un espacio diáfano y abierto. La primera intervención fue dividir y definir las distintas áreas. Para ello, optamos por una cristalera con cuarterones que separase el recibidor, aportando privacidad sin perder la luz natural. De este modo, al reducir ligeramente el tamaño del espacio, conseguimos hacerlo mucho más acogedor.

A continuación, creamos diferentes zonas dentro del mismo ambiente, diferenciándose mediante elementos como alfombras. Así, por ejemplo, surgió un rincón de lectura frente a la chimenea, un lugar perfecto para relajarse.La familia que habita este hogar disfruta de una vida social activa y recibe a menudo invitados, por lo que era fundamental crear espacios con suficientes plazas.

El reto era hacerlo sin perder la sensación de fluidez del espacio. La solución fue un comedor de 6 plazas ampliable cómodamente, y un salón con capacidad para entre 8 y 10 personas.
