The decision was made to remove the old, heavy, classic furniture, which didn’t align with the island’s relaxed style, as it was more suited to a regal city apartment. The goal was to embrace simplicity and highlight the stunning sea views. To achieve this, large windows were added to the porch, allowing natural light to fill the space and creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior.
Another key part of the renovation was to open up the living room, dining room, and kitchen, which were previously separated by a small room and hallway. Now, the kitchen and dining areas enjoy views of the sea, creating an open, inviting atmosphere.
The final result is a summery, refreshing space, perfect for enjoying the sun and the views, inviting relaxation and connection with the surroundings.
